Fashion ComPassion & Debut Contemporary host the Eco Fair, 19th June

Fashion ComPassion and renowned art gallery Debut Contemporary will be joining forces for the second time on Wednesday 19th June to host the Eco Fair – a truly unique evening of fashion and art. The night will feature a number of Fashion ComPassion eco-friendly and sustainable fashion brands with items on sale, including Rags2Riches, SUPU, ABO London and Baca Jewellery – all of them showing how ethics and compassion can be successfully combined to create chic high end items.

The evening will also feature works of art created by emerging artists from Debut Contemporary – such as Anja Kleemann-Jacks, David Booth and Laura Iosifescu – that convey themes of sustainability, the use of recycled materials and celebrating organic forms.

Founder and Director of Fashion ComPassion, Ayesha Mustafa, says:

The Eco-Fair event will bring sustainable fashion to the forefront by showcasing fashion that combines design & eco-friendly production at its core. We want to show that fashion and ethics together can produce trendy, affordable & unique collections that are must-haves. Debut Contemporary provides a great platform to emerging creatives by mentorship, connecting them to new markets & opportunities, further enhancing their skills which are similar ethos to that of Fashion ComPassion and we are delighted to partner with them.

Samir Ceric, Founder and Managing Director of Debut Contemporary, says:

“Meeting Ayesha was very inspiring. I just love meeting entrepreneurs on a mission. She is a woman on a mission that improves other peoples’ lives and increases their chances of professional success. That’s where the ethos and philosophy of Debut Contemporary and Fashion Compassion totally cross-over. Helping others realise their dreams and safeguarding their interest in the process, equipping them with new skills, business tools and business know-how is the mission we at Debut want to see through and turn into a long-lasting legacy. This is where collaborations such as this go a way beyond doing business and making money. A similar collaboration of ECO-FAIR: Green Style Fashion & Art Event this nature we did with Holly and Blake of TOMS. Hence Fashion Compassion follows on as our mission to share, inspire, enlighten and educate.
