Price Range: Price Range: ££££ – £££££
Located on a quiet street near the magnificent Hyde Park and close to the West End and Paddington, La Suite West is the latest creation of famed British designer Anoushka Hempel. This boutique hotel has a wonderfully minimalist decor, with the interior aesthetic taking the shape of a stark temple of black and white, lines meeting sharp angles and sculptural forms – best seen in the corridor of inky-black marble floors that leads guests to the unusually long marble reception desk. The crisp lines of the interior are even mirrored in the hotel’s garden, which is home to meticulously pruned plants, trees and hedges. The hotel offers a range of different rooms, all named after local areas – why not stay in the Notting Hill Suite?
