Free legal advice in W11 from Strictly Law

Seeking out legal advice is a daunting prospect for many of us – but here’s a new and free service that many in the local area will welcome.

Strictly Law are offering drop-in clinics at The Tabernacle in W11 every Friday (10am – 2pm) where you can obtain free and impartial legal advice. You can simply turn up at The Tabernacle during these hours, or make an appointment with the firm by calling them direct on 020 3292 1335.

The drop-in clinic at the well-known Tabernacle started in March of this year, following the launch of a similar clinic at the Kingsgate Community Centre in Kilburn in July 2013. Strictly Law are also seeking to establish further clinics in London, assisting communities and people that desperately need access to free legal advice.

Strictly Law – “taking the awe out of law” – was established in 2011, aiming to provide an invaluable legal service to the community as a whole but in particular to those who are low paid, elderly, unemployed and disabled.

Polly Jackson, founder of Strictly Law explains:

“Over the years the decimation of Legal Aid has had a serious impact on the wider community. That’s where Strictly Law fits in. Strictly Law has a simple philosophy, the need to ensure all members of the community have access to information and the best legal advice at an affordable price. We want to take this philosophy to the people.

For many, dealing with law firms can be an intimidating and overwhelming experience; we understand this and it is our aim to provide a caring and considerate service. Being a virtual firm means that we can reach people either in the comfort of their own homes, in mutually agreed venues or at one of the Advice Clinics we hold. This immediately puts people at their ease. In addition our overheads are considerably lower which means we’re able to pass on our savings to the client and give them an unbeatably cost effective service.”

Do please drop into their clinics at either The Tabernacle or at the Kingsgate Community Centre in Kilburn if you require some legal advice. If you are part of an organisation that would be interested in bringing on board a legal advice resource for the benefit of your community, please call Strictly Law on 020 3292 1335.

More on Strictly Law and the legal areas in which they can help can be found on their website at strictlylaw.co.uk.
