A new exhibition – named ‘Escape’ – of sixty wonderful images by photographers Charlotte Fielding and Philippa Gedge will be on show at the Tabernacle in June.
Each piece in the exhibition details the two photographers’ personal experiences of escaping and escapism, and each has a link to some form of escape – whether that be escaping the rain, escaping the city, or escaping the city. Visit the exhibition to see their interpretations of escapism…and let yourself yourself escape for a while as well.
Charlotte Fielding (www.charlottefieldingphotography.com) set up her photography company after obtaining an MA from Sothebys in Art Business and then establishing a career in the arts and marketing world. Specialising in both corporate and private events, Charlotte is an accredited supplier at Tate Museums, Kew Gardens and Transport for London and includes The Royal Parks Foundation as one of her many clients.
Philippa Gedge (www.philippagedge.com) is a London-based photographer who specialises in potraits, weddings, events and PR work. A professional photographer for eight years, her previous clients include The National Trust, Arts Council England, Penguin Books and the Barbican, amongst many others.
