Antics London at Loft Studios

Antics London is the brainchild of Tony Prospere and Imran Zoberi, both of whom have been heavily involved in house music and events in the local area for a number of years. They developed the night to fill a gap in the market – aiming to deliver an enjoyable night of quality house music to West London in plush surroundings, without any of the attitude that’s commonly found on the scene of late. To this end, they’re truly committed to bringing some of the the world’s most highly regarded deep house talent to their club night – names that are commonly only found at top London clubs like Fabric, or in Ibiza or Miami!

Nowhere is this further exemplified than with who they’ve secured as the resident DJ – DJ/producer Martin Ikin of Soul Purpose & Off Records. Martin’s reputation, musical knowledge and production skills are second to none, and his remixing and production services have been sought after by the most highly regarded names in the industry such as Defected, amongst other big name artists and labels.

Headlining the night is one of the industry’s heavyweights – DJ and respected producer Alex Arnout of Crosstown Rebels, who’s been plying the world with his trade over the last 20 years. He’s also been responsible for producing a number of big tracks in the last few years that have absolutely rocked dance floors globally!

Also playing on the night is Simon Morell (Fina Records), who was resident DJ at and co-promoter of DDD, one of the most credible and innovative breakthrough nights in the UK that ran for a very successful nine years. Simon has since been snapped up by 2020 Vision to set up, A&R and manage their new sub label; he’s also masterminding the London leg of backtobasics!

Nick Doe (Viva La House/Relapse) is one of the most highly regarded house DJs that’s come out of London in the last few years; labelled as “one to watch” by a number of key players this year, he’s a respected producer whose diverse range of musical influences sets him apart from the standard artists.

Damian Nova (Volume) is another London-based house DJ whose career started at the tender age of 13. Since then, he’s played at some of London’s best and most established venues, including Egg, Scala, Indigo O2 and Pacha.
