Over the past week or so, Contiki‘s Roadtrip 2012 has been winding its way around Europe, taking thirteen of the world’s biggest YouTube personalities on an epic ten-day journey across the continent and giving them the opportunity to meet with and create content with fans.
This Sunday, 14th November 2012, the Roadtrip will be visiting London – more specifically, Notting Hill’s wonderful Acklam Village Market on Portobello Road – with the Contiki YouTube London Gathering being the first ever event of this kind. Surely a must for avid bloggers and vloggers, and all YouTube fans!
YouTubers that have been taking part in the Roadtrip include Charlie McDonnell (www.youtube.com/charlieissocoollike), who is one of the UK’s most popular YouTube personalities with a quite staggering 1.6 million subscribers…and counting; Corey Vidal of the ApprenticeEh daily vlogs (www.youtube.com/ApprenticeEh); Nadine Sykora (www.youtube.com/heynadine); and Bryarly Bishop (www.youtube.com/BryarlyBishop).
Each vlogger also has an opportunity to win three free trips for their subscribers by taking part in challenges held by Contiki, who are the leading youth travel brand for 18-35 year olds. These top secret challenges are themed around the destinations visited and sights seen by the vloggers during the Roadtrip; fans across the world can enter to win by following and voting for their favourite YouTube personality on the Contiki Roadtrip website.
The London Gathering will also see live music from up and coming band The Approval, as well as a beauty stand for beauty and style bloggers attending, plus a great selection of food stands.
