Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair ready for the autumn season on Sunday!

Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair returns to Notting Hill this Sunday, with the first fair of the autumn season once again taking place at the 20th Century Theatre in on Westbourne Grove.

At this weekend’s fair, twenty-eight hand-picked exhibitors will be showcasing their wonderful vintage wares, providing the perfect opportunity for all fashionistas and shoppers to update their wardrobes for Autumn/Winter 2012. With items from the 1800s to the 1980s, there will definitely be something to suit absolutely all tastes, and the styles of the most recent catwalk collections – that had hints of Downtown Abbey and Agatha Christie’s Orient Express – will be present at the fair!

The onsite vintage cafe will be the perfect accompaniment to a hard day’s shopping – especially with servings of Anita’s famous homemade cakes and refreshments; whilst live music – sounds of the fabulous fifties – will provide an excellent backdrop. Alteration duo Recycle & Sew will once again be on hand to provide any adjustments you need for your new purchases.

Tickets for the Fair cost £2 (£1 concessions and students with ID; children under 16 go free) and can be purchased in advance from avff_oct.eventbrite.co.uk/ or at the door on the day. More details about the Fair can also be found at www.vintagefashionfairs.com.

You can also read about past editions of the fair on this blog, including July‘s event that paid tribute to the Olympics, and a special Mother’s Day themed fair in March.
