Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair returns to Notting Hill this Sunday, 1st July

Following the previous Vintage Fashion Fairs in May and March (which had a special Mother’s Day theme!), the last Fair of the season (until October) will be taking place at the wonderful 20th Century Theatre on Westbourne Grove this Sunday, 1st July. With twenty-eight carefully selected exhibitors displaying their wonderful vintage pieces, the Fair will be the perfect place to pick up a beautiful outfit (or two!) for summer, as well as for stocking up on accessories, shoes, textiles and much more. This Fair will also be celebrating the personality and individuality of British style, what with 2012 being a very big year for Britain! (I’m sure I don’t have to remind you of the glorious Jubilee celebrations, and the Olympic Games are just around the corner!) To commemorate the Olympics, Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair will also be hosting their first ever blind auction of five vintage rings (to represent the iconic Olympic rings), with a percentage of the bidding total to be donated to The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. A limited edition Diamond Jubilee cotton shopper – designed by Magdalen Dixon – will be on sale for £5, with £1 from each sale also being donated to The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. Once again, Anita’s Vintage Cafe will be serving up delicious homemade cakes and refreshments, whilst Recycle & Sew will be on hand to provide any alterations you need for your purchases. Tickets for the Fair cost £2 (£1 for concessions and students with ID; children under 16 go free) and can be purchased in advance from avff_july.eventbrite.co.uk, or at the door on the day. More details about the Fair can also be found at www.vintagefashionfairs.com. Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair 11am – 5pm, Sunday 1st July 2012 (Trade 10.30am) 20th Century Theatre 291 Westbourne Grove W11 2QA
