UK Choir of the Year at Cadogan Hall, 18th May

The UK Choir of the Year Fundraising Gala will take place on 18th May 2026 at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea. This wonderful concert marks the launch of UK Choir of the Year, which is a new national amateur choral competition celebrating the diversity and quality of collective singing across the UK.

The Gala will feature performances by The Adam Street Singers, Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir and the Citi London Choir, with guest performances from host Dr Ranj and The Choir with No Name – a choir for those affected by homelessness.

Proceeds of the gala will support competition development and access bursaries, helping to ensure choirs from all regions can take part.

The inaugural UK Choir of the Year competition has been created to celebrate and elevate amateur choirs right across the country, of any size and style. It will be adjudicated by a panel of respected musicians, including composer Will Todd, conductor and vocal specialist Dan Ludford-Thomas, and conductor and gospel specialist Karen Gibson MBE.

Tickets for the gala cost £20 – £35 and can be bought online at https://cadoganhall.com/whats-on/raising-voices-uk-choir-of-the-year-fundraising-gala/.
