November sees an exciting and interesting new art exhibition arriving in Notting Hill, brought to us by Modern Art Vietnam. Following the success of the exhibition Tradition and Modernity, next month will see Spirit World: Contemporary Vietnamese Painting celebrating the work of some of Hanoi’s best artists, with paintings from Vu Thu Hien, Bui Huu Hung, Nguyen Quang Huy, Nguyen Bach Dan Vu Duy Nghia, Nguyen Thu Doai, Vu Huong Quynh and Nguyen Tran Cuong. The exhibition explores traditional Vietnamese spirituality in the work of these artists and how they combine with elements from the present day. Full details of the exhibition and the artists and their work can be found at Modern Art Vietnam‘s website.
