Portobello Rocks! – Saturday, 17th July

Anyone that’s concerned about recent goings in the modernisation of Portobello Road might be pleased to hear about an upcoming event that’s aiming to find a suitable solution in stopping the area’s commercialisation, and helping retain its character.

Portobello Rocks! is an arts and entertainment event taking place this Saturday evening at The Drawing Room on Portobello Road itself, featuring a full line-up of music acts as well as a theatre performance. The event kicks off at 7.30pm and is entirely free!

Music acts on the night include Rebecca Poole, The Walkers and Ella Montclare, whilst the theatre performance will be the play Off The Wall, written and directed by Simon Farr and starring Val Jobara, recently seen in the hit film Kick Ass.

Be sure to come down for a fun evening’s events and to support the local area!

Portobello Rocks has now moved to the Drawing Room, 269 Portobello Road. The show must go on!! From 7.30pm til late & FREE!!
