First Wine+Food event on 18th April 2011

Here’s an exciting new event for all the gastronomes and wine connoisseurs out there! Established by Notting Hill-based events company bertrand&marie, the very first Wine+Food event – titled “What You Should Know!” – is to be held on Monday 18th April 2011 at the private members’ club Black’s in Soho.

This first event will be with Isabelle Legeron, the first French woman to be a Master of Wine. Isabelle presents her own television programme, Journey Into Wine, that is broadcast in 117 countries, and is also co-founder of the The Natural Wine Fair.
Each two-hour Wine+Food event will explore the different varieties of wine and the complexities of its taste, as well as showing how to harmonise it with food. The two-hour sessions have been arranged to focus on each topic in hand, and will feature various experts that will impart their knowledge to all attendees. Best of all, the Wine+Food events are being held at the Soho private members’ club Black’s, housed in a beautiful 18th century Georgian townhouse, which elegantly compliments the sessions themselves.
The events are by invitation only, and you can reserve a place at the first event by going to www.bertrandandmarie.com/private and using the password “wine”. Tickets cost £65.
