The original and longest-running Notting Hill Christmas market returns this year, its 36th edition! This year’s Rugby Portobello Trust Christmas Market will take place on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th November 2025.
Sponsored by Strutt & Parker, the event will kick off West London’s festive season. The market will feature over 50 independent stallholders and a silent auction with exclusive prizes.
Known as the original Notting Hill Christmas market – and the one that inspired so many others in the area – this two-day event draws more than 400 discerning shoppers each year. This highly popular market has raised over £120,000 annually to support vulnerable children, young people and families in North Kensington, the area in the UK with the biggest wealth discrepancy.
The event will commence with a Christmas party on 12th November, complete with flowing drinks, endless canapes, festive music and a VIP preview of stallholders, giving early access to those in the know.
The silent auction promises to be a showstopper this year, with some truly fabulous prizes – designer pieces, luxury experiences and once-in-a-lifetime stays in private homes not normally available for hire. Local restaurants, salons and boutiques have also donated dinners, pamper sessions and home goods – these are perfect for gifting others or yourself.
Tickets for the market cost £5–£25 and can be purchased online at www.rptchristmasmarket.co.uk or on the door.
Every pound raised funds The Rugby Portobello Trust’s (RPT) year-round programmes – including homework clubs and a league-topping football academy, to mental health support and parenting groups — all offered free or at minimal cost to more than 1,300 children, young people and carers annually.
For many, RPT is more than a community centre.
“RPT is my family. I am so grateful for all they have done for me and my children. I want to help as much as I can to say thank you.” – Sarah, volunteer and Magic Mums member attendee
“He’s not like this at home or at school. I didn’t know he could be this happy.” – Parent of child in Homework Club
