Arts Mentoring Charity Event – Saturday 5th June 2010

For anyone looking to support a great new local charity whilst attending a fun event, make sure you mark this Saturday – 5th June – in your diary! Arts Mentoring, a charity recently set up by three Notting Hill residents, will be holding their fundraising launch party at the wonderful 20th Century Theatre on Westbourne Grove with a number of exciting performers.
Arts Mentoring aims to raise funds to bring artists (musicians, singers, actors, painters, photographers and more) to orphanages in Africa, to help children there engage in different experiences and find joy through art, and potentially learn skills that may change their lives.
Saturday’s launch party will include Rebecca Poole, Nina Conti and sidekick Monk, Tiger Lilly, trio The Parlour Room and magician Ian Gray. There will also be a photographic exhibition and a raffle, and not forgetting plenty of tasty canapes and and wonderful drinks!
Tickets cost £50 and can be purchased via the Buying Your Ticket page on Arts Mentoring’s website. If you get there before 8pm, you can take advantage of a 2 for 1 deal on tickets (excellent value!) – acts will be on stage at 8.30pm.
