In November, Calken will be hosting the exhibition <em>A poetic liberation of the spirit <\/em>from <strong>19th to 25th November<\/strong>, showcasing the artwork of David Cottingham. Mr\u00a0Cottingham is\u00a0the vice president of the Hesketh Hubbard\u00a0Art Society, the largest life-drawing collective in London; after studying sculpture at Saint Martin\u2019s School of\u00a0Art, David worked as a picture editor for BBC Worldwide before becoming a full-time artist in 2003. The exhibition is free, and visitors will of course also be able to view the main\u00a0collection at the same time. The exhibition is being hosted in collaboration with VC Art.<\/p>\n<p>Do head down to Calken Gallery in November to view their latest exhibition, or head down any day of the week to view the stunning permanent collection.
