With a rash of Peruvian and Peruvian fusion restaurants popping up all over London in the last few years, it seems it&#8217;s now easier than ever to sample South American delicacies and versions of <em>ceviche<\/em>, <em>lomo saltado<\/em> and <em>aji de galina<\/em>. (But perhaps thankfully <i>cuy<\/i> hasn&#8217;t made it over to our shores &#8211; Google that to find out what it is!)<\/p>\n<p>A fantastic opportunity to sample a tasty Peruvian menu is coming our way in early November, as\u00a0holistic chef Sarah Sugden will be hosting a supper club\u00a0in Notting Hill called Peruvian Nights. The night &#8211; hosted in a private dining room &#8211; will feature a seven\u00a0dish tasting menu inspired by Peruvian cuisine and will feature ingredients and items associated and closely linked to the country &#8211; from Pisco sour cocktails\u00a0to sea bass and salmon ceviche, quinoa and corn,\u00a0<em>causa<\/em> (a\u00a0kind of potato cake), and Peruvian sweet dishes, this will be a great way of sampling a range of foods from Lima and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/peruvian-nights.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2132 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thehill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/peruvian-nights.png\" alt=\"Peruvian Nights Supper Club\" width=\"424\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thehill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/peruvian-nights.png 424w, https:\/\/www.thehill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/peruvian-nights-212x300.png 212w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the supper club cost \u00a340 and can be booked\u00a0online at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/grubclub.com\/the-supper-club-social-peruvian-nights\/1767\" target=\"_blank\">grubclub.com\/the-supper-club-social-peruvian-nights\/1767<\/a>\u00a0where you can also see the full menu. Space is limited, so make sure you book very soon!<\/p>\n<p>Originally from Australia, Sarah is now based in London working as a personal holistic chef (with clients including a number of high-profile personalities based in Europe and the US) as well as running her cooking and catering company <a href=\"http:\/\/somethingfromsarah.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SomethingfromSarah<\/a>. Sarah believes that food is at the very heart of our wellbeing; her Peruvian supper club will showcase her inspiration and style of cooking, presenting a menu that&#8217;s fresh and vibrant with plenty of seasonal flavours, all prepared in a creative yet unfussy way.
