Property

Unsurprisingly, the regeneration of many parts of Notting Hill in the last decade or so has seen property prices spiral rapidly. What with the mixture of vibrant main streets and peaceful residential areas, and the plethora of shops, restaurants, bars and other sources of entertainment, this part of London is a very popular place to live. Moreover, the great transport links (bus and Underground - the Central Line provides a direct link to the City).

Notting Hill is also extremely sought after because of the different types of properties - from modern new-build apartments, to flats in converted Victorian buildings, to grand large houses.

If you are looking to buy or rent in the area, we'd definitely recommend you take a stroll down Notting Hill Gate. Many estate agents have branches on this busy main road, and if walk the stretch from where it meets Bayswater Road towards Ladbroke Grove (and beyond if you go on into Holland Park) you'll be able to register with quite a few prime agents.
